IndyPodcasters Inaugural Meetup 2-19-2009
Feb. 19 was the inaugural meetup of the Indianapolis Podcaster's Guild at Starbucks on Mass Avenue. Darrin Snider, founder of the Guild, presided over the meeting (Darrin is pictured above at Starbucks tonight). I have always had great admiration for Darrin--based solely upon the very impressive photographs that he has posted on this Web site. Turns out my admiration is fully justified! This guy knows his stuff! He showed me more about Audacity software in three minutes than I've learned on my own in three years!
We discussed a number of topics from podcasting projects to MP3 mobile recorders to consulting possibilities. It was a very worthwhile evening. If you are a member of this Guild (or even if you aren't), I hope you will join us at the next meeting. We discussed Wednesday evenings as a possibility for future meetings, and I'm sure Darrin will let us know when the next meeting is scheduled.
