Podcaster's Meetup

Sorry, I'm way behind in organizing this, but I thought I'd throw out another meet up since we've got some new members in the last few months. Again, nothing fancy, no formal agenda, just a quick get together to put some faces with some names, swap a few stories, and maybe start a dialog about what we can do as a group to help promote the medium as well as each other. Hope all of you guys can make it.

Despite what the map says, South Bend Chocolate is actually ON Monument circle, not Meridian. If it's nice, we can meet in the outdoor seating area. If it's sucky, there's plenty of seating inside.

A lovely summer evening in downtown Indianapolis was the setting for the Indianapolis Podcasters Guild meeting on Monument Circle. Gathered around a table on the sidewalk in front of the South Bend Chocolate Cafe, we discussed all kinds of Techie Topics from Audacity editing techniques to PHP/mySQL to CSS style sheets, all the while enjoying the warm weather and engaging in some serious people-watching on a bustling Monday evening on the Circle.

If you've not attended a Guild meeting, it's informal and casual. There's no dues or membership fees or anything like that. Come as you are. Bring your laptop and gear if you want, but it's not necessary. It's just a chance for people who share a common interest in podcasting to discuss topics that are relevant to the matter.

I'm sure Darrin will announce the next meeting here soon, so stay tuned. Thanks for the cool hang, the good information, and the high geek factor!

Will be 15-20 minutes late, same as last meeting, same reason! Wireless is available, I trust?
